Sara Pevar is a freelance writer, English professor, and semi-professional devil’s advocate. Since graduating from the University of Montana in 2010 with a M.F.A. in fiction, she has alternated between writing short stories about isolation, private realities, and corpses that walk and do other tricks and encouraging impressionable young people to do the same.
A chapbook of her short stories, In Sight of Land, won the Merriam-Frontier Award in 2010. She specializes in diatribes on character and story structure, researching disasters and atrocities, ranting about why the villain was right all along in pretty much everything you have ever read, and generally taking pop culture much, much too seriously.
